ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure
Arlington Road, Twickenham.

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Utility works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Arlington Road, Twickenham.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Arlington Road, Twickenham from the boundary wall of 1-24 Howmic Court northeastwards for a distance of 25 metres to the boundary wall of number 31 Arlington Road.
The order will come into effect on 22 September 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 22 September to 23 September 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Gloucester Road, Kew.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Gloucester Road, Kew at the junction with Forest Road.
Whilst Gloucester Road, Kew is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Forest Road, Mortlake Road, Kent Road and vice versa.
The order will come into effect on 24 September 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 24 September to 26 September 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

Temporary Towpath Closure
Adjacent to Ham Street Car Park,

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Environment Agency works at Teddington Lock they have made a temporary Notice, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic and pedestrians on a length of the towpath along the River Thames Adjacent to Ham Street Car Park.
Whilst the works take place no person shall enter or proceed on the riverside towpath from a point at the north-west corner of Ham street car park westwards for a distance of 30 metres.
The order will come into effect on 15 September 2025 and stay in force for 6 months, the closures will be in place on Mondays to Fridays only and likely apply for four hours at any one time.
An alternative route for pedestrians will be provided around the compound.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used, or any person in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used, or any person needing access for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Kings Road, Richmond.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Kings Road, Richmond from the junction with Sheen Road to the junction with Abercorn Mews.
Whilst Kings Road, Richmond is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Kings Road, Marchmont Road, Queens Road, and Sheen Road, and Sheen Road, Church Road,
The order will come into effect on 25 September 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 25 September to 26 September 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

Ranelagh Drive, Twickenham

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate horticultural maintenance, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Ranelagh Drive, Twickenham.
Whilst the Order is in effect, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand at any time in Ranelagh Drive, on its southwestern side, from the junction with St Margarets Drive to its junction with The Avenue.
The order will come into effect on 15 September 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress on 15 September 2025 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Victoria Road, Twickenham from the junction with Haggard Road to outside number 6 Victoria Road.
Whilst Victoria Road, Twickenham is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Haggard Road, Strafford Road, Amyand Park Road, and vice versa.
The order will come into effect on 15 September 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 15 September to 17 September 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
