What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (ARGYLE STREET & GRUNDEY STREET, HAZEL GROVE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (REVOCATION) NOTICE 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time: Argyle Street (North side) - from the western kerb line of Grundey Street for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly and north westerly direction, Argyle Street (South side) - from the western kerb line of Grundey Street for a distance of 9 metres in a westerly direction, Grundey Street (West side) - from a point 8 metres north of the projected north westerly kerb line of Argyle Street in a southerly direction to a point 11 metres south of the Southern kerb line of Argyle Street (to tie-in with the aforementioned), Grundey Street (East side) - from a point 15 metres North of the projected North Westerly kerb line of Chester Road for a distance of 22 metres in a Northerly direction and Revoke No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm: Argyle Street (North side) - from the Western kerb line of Grundey Street for a distance of 10 metres in a Westerly and North Westerly direction, Argyle Street (South side) - from the Western kerb line of Grundey Street for a distance of 9 metres in a Westerly direction, Grundey Street (West side) - from a point 8 metres North of the projected North Westerly kerb line of Argyle Street in a Southerly direction to a point 11 metres South of the Southern kerb line of Argyle Street (to tie-in with the aforementioned), Grundey Street (East side) - from a point 15 metres North of the projected North Westerly kerb line of Chester Road for a distance of 22 metres in a Northerly direction.
