RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn bydd yn gwahardd dros dro pob cerbyd, ac eithrio cerbydau argyfwng rhag teithio mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd Lôn Stesion, Gaerwen.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn galluogi archwiliad croesfan rheilffordd blynyddol.

Y ffordd arall fydd o bwynt dwyreiniol y cau. Teithio mewn cyfeiriad de dwyreiniol i sgwâr Llanddaniel a throi i’r chwith. Ymlaen i gyfeiriad gogledd dwyreiniol trwy bentref Llanddaniel i gyffordd yr A5 yn Star. Trowch i’r chwith ar yr A5 ac ewch ymlaen i gyfeiriad gorllewinol ar hyd yr A5 tuag at Stermat Hardwear ym mhentref Gaerwen. Trowch i’r chwith oddi ar yr A5 i Stryd y Capel, Gaerwen ac ewch ymlaen i gyfeiriad y de at y groesfan rheilffordd a man gorllewinol y cau ffordd. 

I’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio o’r cyfeiriad arall.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 4ydd Hydref 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 4 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn digwydd dros nos rhwng 11:00yh ar 4ydd Hydref 2025 a 7:45yb ar 5ed Hydref 2025.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991
CYNGOR SIR YNYS MôN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (GAERWEN LEVEL CROSSING) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along Station Road, Gaerwen.

The Order is necessary for to enable annual level crossing inspection.

The alternative route will be from the eastern point of the closure.

Travel in a south easterly direction to Llanddaniel square and turn left. Proceed in a north easterly direction through Llanddaniel village to the A5 junction in Star. Turn left on to the A5 and proceed in a westerly direction along the A5 towards Stermat Hardwear in Gaerwen village.

Turn left off the A5 onto Chapel Street, Gaerwen and proceed in a southerly direction to the railway crossing and the westerly point of the road closure. Vice versa for traffic travelling from the other direction.

The Order comes into effect on 4th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 4 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 11:00pm on 4th October 2025 and 7:45am on 5th October 2025.
