What is happening?

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – ATHELDEENE ROAD SW18

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Atheldene Road to facilitate Southern Gas Networks utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Atheldene Road from the junction with Garratt Lane to outside number 55. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 22 September 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 3 November 2025.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION– MAGDALEN ROAD SW18

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Magdalen Road to facilitate Crane Lift.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the below restrictions will apply:

    • Magdalen Road will be closed from the junction with Openview to the Zebra crossing outside Beatrix Potter School.

    • The eastern footway outside Beatrix Potter School will be closed from the junction with Openview to the Zebra crossing.

    • The eastbound cycle lane opposite Beatrix Potter School will be suspended. (Cyclists to dismount and use the footway).

    There will be no waiting 08:00 - 18:00.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 27 September 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 27 September 2025.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC – YELVERTON ROAD & HOLMAN ROAD SW11

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Yelverton Road & Holman Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place temporary waiting restrictions will be introduced in the roads and at the locations listed in the schedule to this order. There will be no waiting at any time.

Schedule

• Yelverton Road - from the junction with Gwynne Road to the junction with Holman Road.

• Holman Road - from the junction with Yelverton Road to the junction with Lombard Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

  1. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  2. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  3. The order will come into operation on 22 September 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 13 January 2026.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Garratt Lane to facilitate Thames Water utility work.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the southbound cycle lane will be closed on Garratt Lane from the junction with Allfarthing Lane to the junction with De Alma Street. There will be no waiting 08:00-17:00 Saturday & Sunday only.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 20 September 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 28 September 2025.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Longley Road to facilitate Telecoms utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Longley Road from the junction with Charlmont Road to outside number 191. There will be no waiting 22:00 - 06:00 only.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 15 September 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 15 September 2025.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER– MOSSBURY ROAD SW11

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict pedestrian movement in Mossbury Road to facilitate Building Maintenance works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall enter or proceed along the footpath on the side elevation of 155/157 Falcon Road in Mossbury Road to outside number 9. There will be no access at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 15 September 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 28 February 2026.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Woodbury Street to facilitate Development works.

  2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall enter or proceed along the Northeastern footway of Woodbury Street from the junction of Tooting High Street to outside number 3 Woodbury Street

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 16 September 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 18 December 2025.
