What is happening?
The North Ayrshire Council (Ayr Road, Irvine) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
The North Ayrshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order.
Ayr Road, Irvine (between Sainsburys Roundabout and 50 meters beyond junction with Carson Drive) will be closed from 6pm on 23/09/25 to 6am on 07/10/25 or whenever finished earlier for Carriageway Improvement works. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
