AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
BENSHAM GROVE, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate safe access and egress of construction vehicles during the construction phase of the new development at No. 52 Bensham Grove, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Bensham Grove, Thornton Heath.
Whilst the said works are taking place parking in Bensham Grove will be prohibited and waiting restrictions will apply at any time on both sides of the road between the common boundaries of Nos. 48 and 52 and Nos. 52 and 54 to 56 Bensham Grove,
The Order will come into operation on 02 October 2025 and remain in force for 18 months.
These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies,
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TAMWORTH PLACE, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of Openreach to replace a telegraph pole, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Tamworth Place.
Whilst the said works are taking place Tamworth Place will be closed between its junctions with Drummond Road and Tamworth Road.
The Order will come into operation on 29 September 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BRIAR AVENUE, NORBURY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main decommissioning work by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Briar Avenue.
Whilst the said works are taking place the north-eastern arm of Briar Avenue (fronting property No. 123) will be closed at its junction with Covington Way.
Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via the other side of the Y junction entrance to Briar Avenue, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 187 Covington Way.
The Order will come into operation on 25 September 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 14 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
