A5 Edgware Road, Barnet – Waiting Restrictions and Banned Right Turn due to Junction Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS

AND BANNED RIGHT TURN

A5 EDGWARE ROAD NW2

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate works associated with the new signalised junction at Geron Way with Edgware Road NW2, they intend to make an Order which will:

(a) temporarily introduce ‘at any time’ waiting and loading restrictions on both sides of A5 Edgware Road NW2, from a point 91 metres northeast of the northeastern kerbline of Geron Way and a point 130 metres southeast of the southeastern kerbline of Geron Way, while the works take place

(b) temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to turn right onto A5 Edgware Road NW2 from the access road situated between Nos. 383 and 385 Edgware Road NW2, while the works take place

The works will commence at 8.00am on Friday 19th September 2025 and is expected to last for 60 days.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Traffic Warden in uniform.
