Passageway Rear Of Hall Meadow - Temporary Closure For Works To Install Fibre Cables
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT
(PASSAGEWAY REAR OF HALL MEADOW, CHEADLE HULME) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) NOTICE 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which introduced a Temporary Closure of passageway rear of Hall Meadow, Cheadle Hulme, from rear of no. 52 to the rear of no. 58, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road. This Order is necessary to allow for works to install fibre cables. It is estimated these works will last 3 days. A diversion will be provided via the passageway side of 30 Chedlee Drive, Service Road at rear of no. 22 to no. 30 Cheadle Drive, and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on the 5 November 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
