THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (SANDY GROVE AND SANDY LANE, MANSFIELD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (2241A)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield:
1. Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: -
SANDY GROVE, MANSFIELD (both sides)
From its junction with Sandy Lane in a north-easterly direction for 8 metres
SANDY LANE, MANSFIELD (the north-east side)
From a point 28 metres north-west of its junction with Sandy Grove in a south-easterly direction to a point 22 metres south-east of that junction
2. Other restrictions: - Bus Stop Clearway – No Stopping except buses
SANDY LANE, MANSFIELD (the north-east side)
From a point 22 metres south-east of its junction with Sandy Grove in a south-easterly direction for 19 metres
SANDY LANE, MANSFIELD (the south-west side)
From a point opposite a point 28 metres north-west of its junction with Sandy Grove in a south-easterly direction for 19 metres

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 22nd SEPTEMBER 2025.
The proposals have been introduced to prevent parking around the junction which was causing issues with visibility.
