What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED
BETWEEN NO.14 AND NO.15 KINGS MEADOW,
KINGS LANGLEY) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated between No.14 and No.15 Kings Meadow, Kings Langley from its junction with Kings Meadow south eastwards for a distance of approximately 28m (“the Footpath”).
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the west and south sides of Kings Meadow, the footway situated on the south side of Gade Valley Close, the footway situated on the east side of Rectory Lane, the footway situated on the south side of Mill Lane and the footway situated on the west side of Tooveys Mill Close.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 October 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FELDEN LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Felden Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with A4251
London Road south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Flaunden lane, a distance of approximately 1148m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via A4251 London Road, B4505 (Box Lane/Hempstead Road), High Street, Chipperfield Road and Flaunden Lane.
The Order is needed because the repalcment of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 October 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WOODHALL LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Woodhall Lane, Hemel Hempstead from a point 45m south of the junction with Pluto Rise south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 300m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Woodhall Lane, Pluto Rise, Jupiter Drive, B487 Queensway and Woodhall Lane.
The Order is needed because tree clearance works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 October 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PARK VIEW ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of
Park View Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Charles Street north eastwards for a distance of approximately 108m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Charles Street, Boxwell Road, A4251 High Street and Park View.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 October 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
