Back Electric Parade, Clacton on Sea – Temporary Road Closure due to Disconnection Works

What is happening?

(Back Electric Parade, Clacton on Sea)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Back Electric Parade, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Jackson Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd September 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ1031001443776 – Cadent).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while disconnection works are undertaken by Cadent.

No alternative route is available.

The Order came into effect on 4th September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
