LASCELLES HALL ROAD, LASCELLES HALL, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lascelles Hall Road, Lascelles Hall from its junction with Wakefield Road to its junction with Highfield Lane and with a point closure on Lower Hall Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Highfield Lane, Chimney Lane, Wakefield Road and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 27 September 2025 from 08:00 hours and will remain in force until 5 October 2025 at 18:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(FENAY BRIDGE ROAD, FENAY BRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Fenay Bridge Road, Fenay Bridge from its junction with Wakefield Road to its junction with Peace Hall Drive PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Station Road, Thorgrow Close, Croftflat Drive, Wakefield Road and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 27 September 2025 from 08:00 hours and will remain in force until 5 October 2025 to 18:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(BACK HONORIA STREET, FARTOWN, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Back Honoria Street, Fartown from a point at the side of property no 18 Back Honoria Street to a point outside property no 30 Honoria Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wasp Nest Road, Honoria Street, Bradford Road, Back Honoria Street and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 29 September 2025 at 08:00 hours and will remain in force until 3 October 2025 at 17:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(SLADES ROAD, BOLSTER MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Slades Road, Bolster Moor from a point outside property no 52 Slades Road to a point outside property no 62 Slades Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Slades Road, Drummer Lane and Bolstermoor Road. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 29 September 2025 and will remain in force until 3 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(WOODLANDS AVENUE, THONGSBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Woodlands Avenue, Thongsbridge from its junction with Beech Avenue to a point to the side of property no 14 Woodlands Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Woodlands Avenue, Larch Avenue, Luke Lane, Woodlands Avenue and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 29 September 2025 and will remain in force until 3 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(FALL LANE, MARSDEN, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Fall Lane, Marsden, Huddersfield PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:- 

Diversion 1 : Fall Lane, Town Gate, Manchester Road and vice versa 

Diversion 2 : Unaffected part of Fall Lane to Manchester Road and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday 29 September 2025 for approximately one day only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(FIXBY LANE, GRANGE MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed in excess of 20 mph in that length of Fixby Lane, Grange Moor from its junction with Briestfield Road to its junction of Mellow Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

It is intended that the restriction will commence on Monday 29 September 2025 and remain in force until 1 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(ROYD ROAD, MELTHAM, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Royd Road, Meltham from a point approximately 240 metres southwest of the junction with Holmfirth Road to its junction with Harden Hill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 29 September 2025 and will remain in force until 3 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(HOLLIN HOUSE LANE, CLAYTON WEST, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hollin House Lane, Clayton West from its junction with Bank End Lane to its junction with Badger Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wheatley Hill Lane, Upper Common Lane, Bank End Lane. It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday 2 October 2025 for approximately one day only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(SCHOLES ROAD, JACKSON BRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Scholes Road, Jackson Bridge from its junction with Hepworth Road to its junction with Hill Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Scholes Road, Park Side, St George’s Road, Paris Road, White Wells Road, Dean Bridge Lane, Butt Lane, Hepworth Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday 2 October 2025 for approximately one day only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(LITTLE LANE, WOOLDALE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Little Lane, Wooldale, Holmfirth from its junction with Kirkroyds Lane to a point approximately outside property no. number 4 Little Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Kirkroyds Lane, Lower Town End Road, Town End Road, Wooldale Road, Little Lane - anticlockwise only from Kirkroyds Lane. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 September 2025 and remain in force until 3 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(LOWER QUARRY ROAD, BRADLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower Quarry Road, Bradley, for the full extent of Lower Quarry Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 14 September 2025 and remain in force until 21 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(MATTHEW LANE, MELTHAM, HOLMFIRTH - ROLLING CLOSURE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Matthew Lane, Meltham, from a point outside property no. 54 Matthew Lane to a point outside property no. 23 Matthew Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Diversion: Matthew Lane, Colders Lane, Colders Drive, Whingrove Avenue and vice versa Diversion 1 : Matthew Lane, Colders Lane, Greens End Road (one way only towards Mill Moor Road), Mill Moor Road It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 September 2025 and remain in force for until 10 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(SCHOOL LANE, BERRY BROW, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of School Lane, Berry Brow, Huddersfield from a point outside property no. 8 School Lane to a point outside property no. 12 School Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via School Lane, Station Lane, Woodhead Road, Waingate, Scholl Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 September 2025 and remain in force until 23 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(WAKEFIELD ROAD - VARIOUS ROADS IN HUDDERSFIELD ) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wakefield Road: Point Closures Cross Green Road - at its junction with Wakefield Road Fleminghouse Lane - at its junction with Wakefield Road Greenhead Lane - at its junction with Wakefield Road Grosvenor Road - at its junction with Wakefield Road Mayfield Avenue - at its junction with Wakefield Road Ravensknowle Road - at its junction with Wakefield Road Waterloo Rise - at its junction with Wakefield Road Lister Street - at its junction with Wakefield Road Round Wood Avenue - at its junction with Wakefield Road and removal of one way on Fleminghouse Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Luke Lane, Thongsbridge from its junction with Woodlands Avenue to a point approximately near its junction with Elm Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Woodlands Avenue, Miry Lane, Luke Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 16 September 2025 and remain in force until 18 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(YEW TREE ROAD, BIRCHENCLIFFE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Yew Tree Road, Birchencliffe, Huddersfield from its junction with Halifax Road to a point approximately outside property no.119 Yew Tree Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Yew Tree Road, Birchington Drive, Birchington Avenue, Halifax Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 September 2025 and remain in force until 30 June 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(BLACKLEY NEW ROAD, BIRCHENCLIFFE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Blackley New Road, Birchencliffe, from Ainley Top Roundabout along Blackley New Road with lane closure as required PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 September 2025 and remain in force until 23 June 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(WOOD LANE, COLNE BRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Lane, Colne Bridge, from a point approximately outside Rose Bungalow for approximately 20 metres west PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wood Lane, North Gate, Hollin Hall Lane, Moor Top Road, Upper Heaton Lane, Bog Green Lane, Paul Lane, Helm Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 17 September 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 17 September 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(WOODHEAD ROAD, BERRY BROW, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Woodhead Road, Berry Brow, Huddersfield from its junction with Taylor Hill Road to its junction with Station Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles persons affected by the closure will be available via Lockwood Scar, Church Lane, Newsome Road South, Bridge Street, Waingate, Woodhead Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 18 September 2025 23:30 and remain in force until 19 September 2025 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(WOODSIDE VIEW, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Woodside View, Holmfirth from its junction with Burnlee Road to a point approximately outside property no.13 Woodside View PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Woodside View, Shawfield Avenue, Shaw Lane, Woodhead Road, Greenfield Road, Burnlee Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 18 September 2025 and remain in force until 22 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(LEEDS ROAD, DEIGHTON, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 5) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Leeds Road, Deighton, from its junction with Enterprise Way to its junction with Neptune Way, including point closure on Deighton Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Leeds Road, Northgate, Bradford Road, Bradley Road. It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 19 September 2025 and remain in force until 5 October 2025, working weekends only between hours of 08:00 to 20:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(LINGARDS ROAD, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD AND TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON MANCHESTER ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 AND (TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lingards Road, Slaithwaite from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Neilds Road nor at a speed in excess of 10 mph in that length of Manchester Road from its junction with Neilds Road to its junction with Slaithwaite Road going east PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Neilds Road, Manchester Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 September 2025 and will remain in force until 10 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
