Three Ashes, Temporary Road Closure Due To Carriageway Works

What is happening?

Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under Its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U71216, Isle Of Dogs, Three Ashes, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71216, Isle Of Dogs, Three Ashes, 50 metres either side of water crossing. Grid Ref: 350088/222066.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Isle of Dogs Road onto the B4521, onto Mansells Lane, onto Isle of Dogs Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to carriageway remedial works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
