Canon Pyon, Temporary Road Closure Due To Drainage Repair Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1092 From A4110 To Westlands, Canon Pyon, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1092 From A4110 To Westlands, Canon Pyon, between Hillside Court and The Great House. Grid Ref: 345476 / 249090.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1094 onto the A4110 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to asset alteration and drainage repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
