Linton, Temporary Road Closure Due To Drainage Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order U70230, Woodend Lane, Linton Ross On Wye Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70230, Woodend Lane, Linton Ross On Wye, from Woodpeckers Bam to Little Woodend Farm. Grid Ref: 366901/225228.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Woodend Lane onto The Line, onto the The Rdg, onto Sparrows Lane, onto Sargents Lane, onto Woodend Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 week.
