Garway Hill, Temporary Road Closure Due To Connection Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order C1235 Bagwyllydiart To TheWhite House, Garway Hill, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1235 Bagwyllydiart To The White House, Garway Hill, Merry View Road. Grid Ret 344585/227132.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Tomlins Field Road From C1234 To C1235 onto the C1234 Bagwyllydiart Farm to Little Hill Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
