Sutton, Temporary Road Closure Due To Drainage & Flood Alleviation Works
What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(B4214 Sutton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4214 Sutton from its junction with U95001 Sutton to its junction with U95004 Vine Ln.
Reason: Drainage work for flood alleviation by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4214 Sutton (part), B4214 Bromyard Rd, A4112 Cross St, A4112 Market St, B4204 Kyrewood Rd, B4204 Kyrewood, B4204 Rochford, B4204 Eastham, B4204 Broadheath into Herefordshire, B4214 Bromyard Rd, B4214 Kyre and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days.
Commencing: 6 October 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
