Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Edward Street, Castle Street and Union Street, Truro for their entire lengths.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Truro) (Restrictions on Driving) Order 2006, River Street (Unclassified) - between its junctions with Little Castle Street and Victoria Square and Little Castle Street (Unclassified) - between its junctions with Kenwyn Street and River Street, for their entire lengths. 

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out surfacing works. The Order will come into operation on 6th October 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 1st November 2025

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600 on a daily basis, weekends included. Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Various Roads Truro) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro.

This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 18th October 2025.

Roads subject to prohibition - Frances Street, River Street and Victoria Square, Truro for their entire lengths.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro.

Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Frances Street, River Street and Victoria Square, Truro for their entire lengths. The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

The County of Cornwall (Cadgwith, Ruan Minor) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Ruan Minor. 

This prohibition is necessary for filming and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 10th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Cadgwith, Ruan Minor between the junction of Prazegooth Lane and the property named Campion Cottage.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Landewednack.

This prohibition is necessary for filming and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 10th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Public right of way affected - Footpath 9, Landewednack for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Threemilestone.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 1st December 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From The A390 Roundabout At Threemilestone To Penventinnie Lane, Threemilestone between grid references SW77818 45204 and SW78073 45411.

The County of Cornwall (Mount Zion Cottages, Falmouth and Road From Waterloo Road To Mount Zion Cottages, Falmouth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Falmouth. 

This prohibition is necessary for electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 13th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Mount Zion Cottages, Falmouth and Road From Waterloo Road To Mount Zion Cottages, Falmouth for their entire lengths.
