RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Porthcawl wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi creu Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno, dros dro, y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd codi sgaffaldau i hwyluso gwaith atgyweirio concrit strwythurol i Drawst Ymyl y Gogledd Tanbont Porthcawl Road i’r M4. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 22/09/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 07:00 a 17:00 o 22/09/2025 i 17/10/2025.
Atodlen - Ni chaiff neb beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd y B4283 Porthcawl Road, Curwen Terrace, o’r gyffordd â Court Rd i bwynt gyferbyn â Maesgwyn. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw ar hyd y B4283 Porthcawl Road, yr A4229, Cylchfan yr A48, Fairfield, School Terrace, B4283 Curwen Terrace, ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Ni fydd mynediad parhaus ar gyfer y gwasanaethau brys. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr at yr holl eiddo.Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(B4283 PORTHCAWL ROAD) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Porthcawl in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is in the interest of public safety due to installation of scaffold to facilitate structural concrete repairs to the Northern Edge Beam of Porthcawl Road Underbridge to the M4. The Order will come into force on the 22/09/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 from the 22/09/2025 to 17/10/2025.
Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along B4283 Porthcawl Road, Curwen Terrace, from its junction with Court Rd to a point opposite Maesgwyn. The alternative route for vehicles is via B4283 Porthcawl Road, A4229, A48 Roundabout, Fairfield, School Terrace, B4283 Curwen Terrace, and vice versa. Access will not be maintained for emergency services. Pedestrian access will be maintained to all properties. The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
