TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE, CLYDACH (CANAL TOWPATH/FOOTPATH 42) NOTICE 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea has made an Order in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) in respect of the above mentioned footpath. The closure is required to allow the canal to be dredged and maintained.

SCHEDULE Footpath 42. The canal towpath from its junction with the Active Travel Route at the western boundary of the works (due south of 31 High Street) eastwards for 500 metres to Ynys-Penllwch Road, then across the road for a further 80 metres.

The closure will operate from 15 September 2025 for a period of 4 months or, if completed earlier, when the works are completed.
