What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1125 REDKORD ROAD, WESTLETON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1125 Redkord Road, Westleton from 130 metres south of the junction with Mill Street for 45 metres southbound to facilitate a new electrical connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1122, the A12 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/09/2025 - 30/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C209 PEASENHALL ROAD AND HALESWORTH ROAD, WALPOLE AND SIBTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C209 Peasenhall Road, Walpole and C209 Halesworth Road, Sibton from Peasenhall Road, Walpole to Church-Dunwich Lane, Sibton to facilitate carriageway patching prior to surface dressing.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Dunwich Lane, Sibton, Dunwich Lane, Heveningham, Long Lane, Heveningham, the B1117 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/09/2025 - 26/09/2025 from 8am - 5pm, with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C406 STATION ROAD, HAUGHLEY
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C406 Station Road, Haughley from the railway track for 20 metres eastbound and 20 metres westbound to facilitate level crossing testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Station Road, Old Newton, the B1113, Westhorpe Road, Finningham, Finningham Road, Westthorpe Road, Wyverstone, Church Hill, Wyverstone Road, The Street, Rectory Road, Bacton Green, Haughley Green, Haughley Road, Station Road, Haughley and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 21/09/2025 from 12:01am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1061 School Road, Great Wratting from Coronation Cottages to the entrance to the water treatment works to facilitate water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the B1052, the A1307, the A1017, the B1061 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 21/09/2025 from 6am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/09/2025 - 23/09/2025 from 9.30am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be the B1115, the A1141, the A1071, the A134, the B1115 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/09/2025 - 26/09/2025 from 7am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3201 Constable Road, Ipswich from 70 metres north of the junction with Gainsborough Road for 40 metres northbound to facilitate the installation of new electricity supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Gainsborough Road, Westerfield Road, Manor Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/09/2025 - 25/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE U4602 GAYE STREET, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4602 Gaye Street, Ipswich from no. 6 for 15 metres eastbound to facilitate a stop tap replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bennet Street, London Road, Handford Road, Civic Drive, St. Matthews Street, Norwich Road and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the U4602 Gaye Street, Ipswich to allow access and egress.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 23/09/2025 - 24/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in Copdock Mill Interchange to London Road:
• U4433 London Road, Sproughton Long Meadow to the A1214 road from Copdock Mill Interchange to London Road
• A1214 road from Copdock Mill Interchange to London Road, Pinewood from Copdock Mill Interchange to the road from the A134 Newton to the A1214, Ipswich

It is intended that the closure will operate from 8pm on 22/09/2025 - 5am on 23/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
