Stoke Trister Road - Temporary Road Closure To Permanent Reinstatement Works

Temporary Closure of Stoke Trister Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stoke Trister Road - from 231 metres north-west of the junction with Shaftsbury Lane, north- westwards for a total distance of 84 metres.

This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent reinstatement works.

The Order becomes effective on 25th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th September 2025 and last until 30th September 2025 between the hours of 07:00 - 17:00 for a total of 2 days.
