What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn
Bridge, Parking & Waiting, No 62, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that
on 25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1)
to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV
of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004,
the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition
of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Harrogate)
Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the
table below: Table - Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions
Park Way (U1025/3/50), Knaresborough, North side from a point 12m East
of its junction with Scriven Road to a point 16m North of Scriven Road. Park
Way (U1025/3/50), Knaresborough, South side from a point 12.5m East of
its junction with Scriven Road to a point 24.5m South of its junction with
Scriven Road. Park Gate (U1022/3/50), Knaresborough, West side from a
point 15m North of its junction with Park Way to a point 10m West of its
junction with Park Way. Park Gate (U1022/3/50), Knaresborough, East side
from a point 14m North of its junction with Park Way to a point 10m East of
its junction with Park Way. Park Grove (U1023/3/50), Knaresborough, North
side from a point 10m East of its junction with Scriven Road to a point 15m
North of its junction with Scriven Road. Park Grove (U1023/3/50),
Knaresborough, South side from a point 10m East of its junction with
Scriven Road to a point 10m South of its junction with Scriven Road. Park
Avenue (U1018/3/50), Knaresborough, North side from a point 10m East of
its junction with Scriven Road to a point 15m North of its junction with
Scriven Road. Park Avenue (U1018/3/50), Knaresborough, South side from
a point 10m East of its junction with Scriven Road to a point 10m South of
its junction with Scriven Road. Scotch George Lane (U1039/3/50),
Knaresborough, North side from a point 15m West of its junction with
Scriven Road to a point 248m North of its junction with Scriven Road.
Scotch George Lane (U1039/3/50), Knaresborough, South side from a point
11m West of its junction with Scriven Road to a point 10m South of its
junction with Scriven Road. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation
on 15/09/25, together with a map showing the roads affected may be
examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Knaresborough Library,
Marketplace, Knaresborough HG5 8AG during normal office hours from
11/09/25 to 17/10/25 & also viewed online at
www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or
www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. The Order number was
incorrectly stated as No. 58 during the proposal stage. The correct number
is 62 as stated above. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order
or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the
powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or
on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made
under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within
6 weeks of 05/09/25 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Hardisty Hill to Kex Gill Road,
Blubberhouses, Order 2025, No. 335 We intend to make this Order to
prohibit any vehicle from using Hardisty Hill to Kex Gill Road,
Blubberhouses for a temporary period of 6 weeks (subject to access to
premises) between 28/09/25 & 09/10/25, due to the construction of the new
A59. However, the max duration of this Order is until 28/02/27. The closure
period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be
signed on site where appropriate. All enquiries to Customer Service Centre

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Hardisty Hill to Kex Gill Road,
Blubberhouses, Order 2025, No. 336 We have made this Order to prohibit
any vehicle from using Hardisty Hill to Kex Gill Road, Blubberhouses for a
temporary period of 12 weeks (subject to access to premises) between
28/09/25 & 28/03/26, due to the construction of the new A59. However, the
max duration of this Order is until 28/02/27. The closure period will be
indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site
