What is happening?

THE HIGHLAND COUNCIL (B9152 GRANISH) 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Highland Council proposes to make an Order in terms of Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 entitled as above.

If the Order comes into force, the Order will introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following road over their entire length, unless stated otherwise below:

  • B9152 From a point 239m or thereby to the south of its junction with the A95 Granish - Grantown – Boundary Road and extending in a southerly direction for a distance of 698m or thereby

A copy of the draft TRO, schedule, plan and the Authority’s Statement of Reasons can be inspected at the Inverness Service Point, Town House, Castle Street, Inverness, IV1 1JJ during normal opening hours from Monday to Friday 10:00 – 12:30 and 1:30 to 4:30, from the 18th September 2025. Documents may also be found at https://www.highland.gov.uk/roadsafety and selecting “Road Safety Consultations” or by emailing trafficorders@highland.gov.uk.

All objections to the proposals must be made in writing and must specify the grounds of objection on or before the 17/10/2025 to the following:
