What is happening?

Highways Act 1980 – Section 90a – F (Inclusive)

Provision of Speed Humps – Gordon Road

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct speed humps at the following locations:

    • (i) Gordon Road, outside house No. 116 or thereabouts;

    • (ii) Gordon Road, outside of house No. 279 Hampton Road or thereabouts;

    • (iii) Gordon Road, outside house No. 132 or thereabouts;

    • (iv) Gordon Road, outside house No. 133 or thereabouts;

    • (v) Gordon Road, approximately 8 metres north-west of house No. 141 Staines Road or thereabouts.

  2. The speed humps to (i) to (v) would be of round top design, approximately 80 millimetres at their highest point with an overall length of 3.7 metres. The speed humps would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.

  3. A copy of the plans showing the locations of the speed humps may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255–259 High Road, Ilford Essex IG1 1NY.

  4. Any person wishing to object or make representation to the proposals should send a statement in writing of either their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Head of Highways and Transportation Strategy, Lynton House, 2nd Floor Front, 255–259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NY quoting reference 24540-METS-0010-14- 02-DRG-CE-001to004 by no later than 2nd October 2025.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct speed humps at the following locations:

    • (i) Harewood Drive, outside house No. 41 Ewellhurst Road or thereabouts;

    • (ii) Harewood Drive, outside house No. 13/15 or thereabouts;

    • (iii) Harewood Drive, outside house No. 21 or thereabouts;

    • (iv) Harewood Drive, outside house No. 50 or thereabouts.

  2. The speed humps to (i) to (iv) would be of round top design, approximately 80 millimetres at their highest point with an overall length of 3.7 metres. The speed humps would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.

  3. A copy of the plans showing the locations of the speed humps may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255–259 High Road, Ilford Essex IG1 1NY.

  4.   1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct speed humps at the following locations:

    • (i) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 53 Elmbridge Road or thereabouts;

    • (ii) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 215 or thereabouts;

    • (iii) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 151 or thereabouts;

    • (iv) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 171 or thereabouts;

    • (v) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 151 or thereabouts;

    • (vi) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 79 Harborough Road or thereabouts;

    • (vii) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 26 or thereabouts;

    • (viii) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 72 or thereabouts;

    • (ix) Huntsman Road, outside house No. 53/55 or thereabouts.

  2. The speed humps to (i) to (ix) would be of round top design, approximately 80 millimetres at their highest point with an overall length of 3.7 metres. The speed humps would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct speed humps at the following locations:

    • (i) Thackeray Drive, outside Thackeray Drive Assessment Unit or thereabouts;

    • (ii) Thackeray Drive, approximately 12 metres west of junction with Huxley Drive or thereabouts;

    • (iii) Thackeray Drive, outside house No. 1 Telford Gardens or thereabouts;

    • (iv) Thackeray Drive, outside house No. 1 Eccleston Crescent or thereabouts.

  2. The speed humps to (i) to (iv) would be of round top design, approximately 80 millimetres at their highest point with an overall length of 3.7 metres. The speed humps would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct speed humps at the following locations:

    • (i) Trenance Gardens, outside house No. 31 Westrow Gardens or thereabouts;

    • (ii) Trenance Gardens, outside house No. 11 or thereabouts;

    • (iii) Trenance Gardens, outside house No. 28 or thereabouts;

    • (iv) Trenance Gardens, outside house No. 35 or thereabouts;

    • (v) Trenance Gardens, outside house No. 112 Goodmayes Lane or thereabouts;

    • (vi) Brownleas Gardens, outside house No. 42 or thereabouts;

    • (vii) Brownleas Gardens, outside house No. 16 or thereabouts;

    • (viii) Brownleas Gardens, outside house No. 88 Breamore Road or thereabouts.

  2. The speed humps to (i) to (viii) would be of round top design, approximately 80 millimetres at their highest point with an overall length of 3.7 metres. The speed humps would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.

  3. A copy of the plans showing the locations of the speed humps may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255–259 High Road, Ilford Essex IG1 1NY.
