Crabley Lane, South Cave - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Allow Maintenance Works to Be Carried Out
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL CRABLEY LANE, SOUTH CAVE (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Crabley Lane, South Cave (at Crabley Creek Level Crossing and for a distance of 20 meters either side and on both approaches thereto) commencing 16 September 2025 to allow maintenance works to be carried out by Chevron Traffic Management Ltd on behalf of Network Rail.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works (which will be carried out between 23.55 hours and 05.30 hours) will be completed by 17 September 2025. There is no alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure.
The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for residents, emergency services and pedestrians.
