Hestercombe Road, Temporary Closure Due To Cabling Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Cheddon Fitzpaine Temporary Closure of Hestercombe Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hestercombe Road - from 529 metres east of the junction with Pitchers Hill, eastwards for a total distance of 180 metres. This Order will enable Airband Community Internet Ltd to carry out cabling works.
The Order becomes effective on 25th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st October 2025 and last until 1st October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
