Holway Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works

Somerset Council Parish of Taunton Temporary Closure of Holway Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Holway Road - from the junction with Eastleigh Road to the junction with Wordsworth Drive. A total distance of 130 metres. This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.

The Order becomes effective on 25th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th September2025 and last until 27th October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 29 days.
