What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of Stawley Temporary Closure of Ashbrittle Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ashbrittle Road - from the junction with Appley Road, westwards for a total distance of 53 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace a chamber.

The Order becomes effective on 25th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th September 2025 and last until 3rd October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
