Temporary Closure of Five Bells and North Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Five Bells - from the junction with Grove Copse, north-westwards for a distance of 614 metres and North Road - from the junction with Grove Copse, south-eastwards for a distance of 132 metres. A total distance of 746 metres. This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to replace a gas main. The Order becomes effective on 3rd October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 8th October 2025 and last until 8th December 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 62 days.
