Bruton Road - Temporary Road Closure To Replace Stop Tap

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Bruton Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Bruton Road - from the junction of Oxford Street, north-eastwards for a total distance of 17 metres.

This Order will enable Bristol Water to replace stop tap.

The Order becomes effective on 25th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th September 2025 and last until 30th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
