Temporary Closure of Church Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Church Lane - from 60 metres south of the junction with Parsons Close, southwards for a total distance of 56 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works. The Order becomes effective on 3 October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 6 October 2025 and last until 8 October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
