What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF STOCKTON-ON-TEES
YARM ROAD, EAGLESCLIFFE PARKING PLACES ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made an Order on 15th September 2025 under Sections 32 & 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”)and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The Order which will come into effect on 15th September 2025, has the effect of providing a parking bay for authorised police vehicles for the purpose of mobile speed enforcement along the length of road specified in The Schedule. The sealed Order, together with a map showing the affected roads, may be examined at the Stockton Customer Service Centre, Central Library, The Square, Stockton-on-Tees during normal office hours and on the Council’s website (Traffic Orders).
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the 15th September 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
The Schedule - Parking Bay for Authorised Police Vehicles Only
Yarm Road, Eaglescliffe - from its junction with Muirfield Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 65m.
