Fenham Hall Drive - Prohibition Any Vehicular Traffic For Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(FENHAM HALL DRIVE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicular traffic to proceed on i - Fenham Hall Drive from its junction with Queensway to Fenham Chase.
ii - Wingrove Road from its junction with Fenham Hall Drive in a North direction for a distance of 63 metres.
iii - Wingrove Road from its junction with Fenham Hall Drive in a South direction for a distance of 38 metres.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on site as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the said works and police, fire brigade and ambulance vehicles on emergency call.
5. The Order will come into operation on 26 October 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 21 December 2025 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
