Winsor Road, Copythorne - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Replacement Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
WINSOR ROAD, COPYTHORNE, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Winsor Road between its junction with Pound Lane and continuing to a point 280 metres South on Winsor Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pollards Moor Road, A31 Romsey Road, Whitemoor Lane, Winsor Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 22nd September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 08:30–15:30).
