Gangbridge Lane, Andover - Temporary Road Closure due to Electrical Supply Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –

GANGBRIDGE LANE, ANDOVER, TEST VALLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Gangbridge Lane between its junction with Binley Bottom and its junction with B3048.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Gangbridge Lane, B3048, Binley Bottom, Slade Bottom Road, Lye Farm Road.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 22nd September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 7 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SSEN to complete electrical supply works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: Martina.hardwidge@sse.com.
