Ironbridge - Various Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Waterloo Street, Ironbridge Road, Ladywood and Wesley Road, Ironbridge (Temporary Prohibition of
Traffic) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst highway improvement works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the
22/9/25 between the hours of 8:00am–17:00pm.
The following roads are affected:
Waterloo St from its jcn with Ironbridge Rd to its jcn with Coalport Road. Ironbridge Rd from its jcn with Waterloo St to its jcn with Coalford. Ladywood from its jcn with
Ironbridge Rd for approx. 500m in a westerly direction. Wesley Rd in its entirety will be Access only. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 26/9/25. Alternative routes will be signed on site.
