What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Meadowbrook Road, Brackenfield Road and Briery Road, Halesowen) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Meadowbrook Road, Brackenfield Road, and Briery Road, Halesowen, for the purpose of gas mains replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 29/09/2025 and will remain in force until 27/10/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Meadowbrook Road, Dunstall Road, Huntingtree
Road, Thornhill Road, Meadowbrook Road and vice versa; OR Brackenfield Road, Bassnage Road, Thornhill Road, Huntingtree Road, Briery Road, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
