PROPOSED EXTENSIONS OF THE EDMONTON GREEN SOUTH CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE [ZONE S], THE ENFIELD EVENT DAY ZONE [ZONE SE], AND AMENDMENTS TO WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF A SCHOOL STREET ZONE FOR FLEECEFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL AND BRETFENHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT IN JEREMY’S GREEN AND SWAYTHLING CLOSE

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO PRESCRIBED ROUTES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (Residents and Shared-Use Parking Places) (Edmonton Green South) (No.1) (Amendment No. ) Traffic Order 202, The Enfield (Event Day) (Parking Places) (Amendment No.1) Traffic Order 202, The Enfield (Prescribed Routes) (No. *) Traffic Order 202, and the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. *) Traffic Order 202 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

  1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

(1) Extend the Edmonton Green South (zone S) zone controls operating 8am to 9pm every day in Brook Crescent, Brookfield Road, the western section of Brookside Road, the north east spur of Felixstowe Road, Fraser Road, Grilse Close and Parr Close.

(2) Extend the part time event day (zone SE) zone controls operating Noon to 9pm on event days in Benjaffield Close, the southern section of Brettenham Road, the eastern section of Brookside Road, Cameron Close, Cavendish Close, Cavendish Road, Craig Park Road, Elianby Crescent, Lawrence Road, Montagu Crescent, and Montagu Gardens.

(3) Double yellow line waiting restrictions in:

Baxter Road, Brettenham Road, Benjaffield Close, Brook Crescent, Brookfield Road, Cameron Close, Cavendish Close, Cavendish Road, Craig Park Road, Elianby Crescent, Fraser Road, Grilse Close, Lawrence Road, Montagu Crescent, Montagu Gardens, Montagu Road, Osman Road, Parr Close, and Sebastopol Road.

(4) Single yellow line waiting restrictions:

(a) operating Monday to Sunday between 8am and 8pm in Brookfield Road; (b) operating Noon to 9pm on event days in Brettenham Road, Brookside Road, Cavendish Road, Craig Park Road, Elianby Crescent, Lawrence Road, Montagu Crescent, and Montagu Road.

(5) No entry into:

(a) Brook Crescent from Brookfield Road, (b) Cavendish Road, the section east of the eastern kerb-line of Craig Park Road, (c) Craig Park Road south of the southern kerb-line of Elianby Crescent, (d) Fraser Road from Plevna Road, (e) Lawrence Road from Argyle Road, (f) Montagu Crescent, the north-west arm, from Montagu Gardens, (g) Osman Road from Fore Street,

(6) Prohibited left turn in Elianby Crescent from the south-west arm entering the north-west arm.

(7) Prohibited right turn from Cameron Close into Elianby Crescent.

(8) Prohibited left and right turns from:

(a) Brookfield Road into Brook Crescent, (b) Fore Street into Osman Road, (c) Montagu Gardens into Montagu Crescent, and (d) Plevna Road into Fraser Road.

(9) Compulsory turns in:

(a) Beaconsfield Road, (b) Cavendish Road into Craig Park Road, and (c) Osman Road.

(10) One-way working in:

(a) Baxter Road, (b) Beaconsfield Road, (c) Brook Crescent, (d) Cavendish Road, (e) Craig Park Road, (f) Fraser Road, (g) Lawrence Road, (h) Montagu Crescent, and (i) Osman Road.

(11) Contraflow cycle exemption in:

(a) Baxter Road, (b) Craig Park Road, (c) Elianby Crescent and (d) Lawrence Road.

(12) Pedestrian and cycle zones in:

(a) Brettenham Road, (b) Brookside Road.

(13) Width restrictions and padlocked cycles in the link area between:

(a) Bradwell Mews and Cavendish Road, and

(b) Osman Close and Montagu Road,

(c) Brookside Road and Fore Street, and

(d) the area west arm of Craig Park Road.

(14) The amended permit charges would be:

SCHOOL STREETS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (Prescribed Routes) (School Streets) (No. *) Traffic Order 202 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

  1. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a ban on motor vehicles except permit holders during term-time from 8.15am to 9.15am and 3pm to 3.45pm Mondays to Fridays during term time from entering:

    (1) Ascot Road between the junctions of Brettenham Road and Lansfield Avenue. (2) Brettenham Road, between the junctions of Fore Street and Argyle Road. (3) Felixstowe Road between the junction of Brettenham Road and the southern kerb-line of the south-east arm of Felixstowe Road. (4) Foots Lane, the entire length. (5) North Avenue, the entire length. (6) Sebastopol Road, between the junctions of Beaconsfield Road and Felixstowe Road.

Any vehicle that is already in those length of roads listed in paragraph 2 before the pedestrian and cycle zone commences will be permitted to leave.

20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (20 mph Speed Limit) (No. *) Traffic Order 202 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

  1. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a 20mph speed limit in:

    (a) Jeremy’s Green, and (b) Swaythling Close.
