Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

BYCULLAH ROAD EN2 – 4596

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 8th September 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking from a point between No.s 9-14 Albany Road.

QUEENS ANNES GROVE EN1 – 4597

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs on the 24th September 2025 for 3 days.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on Queen Annes Grove EN1 from a point between the common boundary of No.s 7 - 40/42.

RIDGEMOUNT GARDENS EN2 – 4598

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 22nd September 2025 for 12 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to

  • Suspend parking on this road from its junction with The Ridgeway, for approximately 90 metres to No.1 Ridgemount Gardens, on both sides of the carriageway; and

  • To introduce a speed limit of 10mph, for approximately 150 m, from the side of No.38 Oakington Court to outside number 3 Ridgemount Gardens.

GREEN LANES N13 – 4599

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

between the hours of 20:00hrs – 05:00hrs on 23 September 2025 for 4 nights or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order would be to

  • Suspend parking on this road, west side between No.s 361 and 369; and

  • Close the northbound cycle lane, between No.s 361 and 379

    Cyclists would be required to dismount and walk for the length of the northbound cycle lane closure and re-join the main carriageway where safe to do so.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs.
