Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
BYCULLAH ROAD EN2 – 4596
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“Any time” on 8th September 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking from a point between No.s 9-14 Albany Road.
QUEENS ANNES GROVE EN1 – 4597
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs on the 24th September 2025 for 3 days.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on Queen Annes Grove EN1 from a point between the common boundary of No.s 7 - 40/42.
RIDGEMOUNT GARDENS EN2 – 4598
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“Any time” on 22nd September 2025 for 12 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to
Suspend parking on this road from its junction with The Ridgeway, for approximately 90 metres to No.1 Ridgemount Gardens, on both sides of the carriageway; and
To introduce a speed limit of 10mph, for approximately 150 m, from the side of No.38 Oakington Court to outside number 3 Ridgemount Gardens.
GREEN LANES N13 – 4599
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
between the hours of 20:00hrs – 05:00hrs on 23 September 2025 for 4 nights or until works are completed
The general effect of the Order would be to
Suspend parking on this road, west side between No.s 361 and 369; and
Close the northbound cycle lane, between No.s 361 and 379
Cyclists would be required to dismount and walk for the length of the northbound cycle lane closure and re-join the main carriageway where safe to do so.
The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs.
