Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(A449 Main Road, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: A449 Main Road (northbound) off-side lane including intersection for right hand turn, for a distance of 200 metres in a northerly direction.
Closure 2: A449 Main Road (southbound) off-side including intersection for left hand turn, for a distance of 450 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation work by WCC.
Alternative route: Northbound diversion: A449 Main Rd (part), A4133 Main Rd, A4133 Droitwich Rd, A449 Main Rd Southbound (part).
Southbound diversion: A449 Main Rd (part), A449 Ombersley Rd, A449 Northern Link Roundabout, A449 Ombersley Rd Northbound, A449 Main Rd (part).
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 6 October 2025.
(C2003 Bromsgrove Road, Clent) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2003 Bromsgrove Rd from its junction with A491 Stourbridge Rd to its junction with U20407 Summerfield Rd.
Reason: New kerbs, reflective bollards and tarmac by WCC.
Alternative route: Southbound Diversion – C2003 Bromsgrove Rd (part), C2003 Belbroughton Rd, C2003 Holy Cross Ln, C2003 High St, B4188 Hartle Ln, A491 Bromsgrove Rd.
Northbound Diversion – A491 Stourbridge Rd, C2160 West Rd, A456 Worcester Rd, A450 Worcester Rd, C2061 Thicknall Ln, C2135 Broome Ln, C2165 Holy Cross Green, C2003 Bromsgrove Rd.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days.
Commencing: 6 October 2025.
(C2045 Stoke Pound Lane, Stoke Prior) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2045 Stoke Pound Ln from its junction with B4091 Hanbury Rd to its junction with C2171 Whitford Bridge Rd.
Reason: New Sewer connection & New clean water connection by A E Gough & Son LTD in collaboration with STW.
Alternative route: B4091 Hanbury Rd, C2079 Forest Ln, C2079 Wallhouse Ln, C2195 Siles Ln, C2060 Green Ln, C2060 Church Rd, C2060 Cur Ln, C2045 Copyholt Ln, C2045 Stoke Pound Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 6 October 2025.
(C2158 Netherwood Lane, Crowle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2158 Netherwood Ln from its junction with U42211 Church Rd to its junction with C2158 Netherwood Ln.
Reason: Railway maintenance (Level Crossing) by Network Rail.
Alternative route: C2158 Church Ln, C2076 Plough Ln, C2076 Plough Rd, C2032 Crowle Rd, C2158 Netherwood Ln (part), C2158 Church Ln and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (23:00–08:00).
Commencing: 13 September 2025.
(C2152 Lineholt Lane, Uphampton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2152 Lineholt Ln from its junction with C2152 Woodfield Ln for a distance of 150 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2152 Lineholt Ln (part), C2142 Blacksmiths Bank, C2142 Boreley Ln, C2152 Uphampton to Holt Rd, C2152 Lineholt Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 16 September 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Footpath BM-591 Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 27 March 2025 the effect of which is to close Footpath BM-591 Bromsgrove for its entire length which was due to expire on 12 September 2025 has been continued with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport the works to which it relates have been completed or until 2 March 2027 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Order has been made due to a new housing estate.
Alternative route: There is no proposed alternative route.
