Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Alsike Road, Abbey Wood

Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Alsike Road, Abbey Wood from the junction with Landridge Road to the junction with Middle Way, Abbey Wood

• Waiting restriction and loading prohibition on Alsike Road, Abbey Wood from the junction with Landridge Road to the junction with Middle Way, Abbey Wood

Access to Maran Way will be maintained.

2. The Order will come into effect on 24 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via: Alsike Road, Yarnton Way, Harrow Manorway, Overton Road, Sedgemere Road, Rushdene, and reverse.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Thames Road, Crayford

Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Highway improvement works to be done in phases by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Thames Road from the SMC Ford dealership/garage to the junction with the Kennet Road roundabout, Crayford

• Prohibition of traffic on Thames Road Roundabout junction of North Road for entire roundabout

2. The Order will come into effect on 22 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress, the alternative routes will be the following diversions.

• Perry Street, Crayford High Street, Crayford Road, Dartford Road, West Hill, Highfield Road North, Westgate Road, Hyde Street, Victoria Road, Burnham Road, Thames Road and reverse

• Perry Street, Crayford High Street, London Road, Watling Street, Erith Road, Bexley Road, Queens Road, Scout Road, North Road and reverse

• Any small, localised diversions to be signposted when required

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Westmoreland Avenue, Bexley

Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Westmoreland Avenue, Bexley from the junction with Buckingham Avenue to approximately 30m into junction (Westmoreland Avenue)

• A Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Bexley from the junction with Buckingham Avenue to approximately 30m into junction (Westmoreland Avenue)

2. The Order will come into effect on 15 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via: Buckingham Avenue, Yorkland Avenue, Northumberland Avenue, and reverse.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Birling Road and Stuart Mantle Way, Erith

Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition from 59 to 100 Birling Road, Erith both sides of the carriageway.

• Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Stuart Mantle Way for 30m from the junction with Birling Road, Erith both sides of the carriageway.

2. The Order will come into effect on 22 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be required.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Gas mains replacement by JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) for the entire length of Oakley Drive, Bexley

2. The Order will come into effect on 22 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be provided.

• Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
