Tilehurst Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Infrastructure Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (TILEHURST LANE, BINFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along: a) Tilehurst Lane, Binfield in both directions between the junctions of York Road and B3018 Church Lane. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Tilehurst Lane, B3034 Forest Road, Terrace Road North and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Scottish and Southern Power Distribution carry out works to the infrastructure in the carriageway. The Order came into operation on the 22nd September 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, It is currently planned that the closure will be in place between 22nd September 2025 - 03rd October 2025. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
