Sandhurst, Temporary Road Closures Due To Essential Gas Network Upgrades

What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(ALBION ROAD, THE BROADWAY AND YORK WAY, SANDHURST) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:

a) Albion Road, Sandhurst.

b) The Broadway, Sandhurst.

c) York Way, Sandhurst.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via:

a) A321 Yorktown Road, Crowthorne Road, Wellington Road, Park Road and this route reversed.

b) A321 Yorktown Road, Crowthorne Road, Wellington Road, Park Road and this route reversed.

c) Crowthorne Road, A321 Yorktown Road and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Southern Gas Network carry out essential upgrades in the carriageway. The proposed Order will come into operation on the (a)(b) 15th September 2025 until the 29th November 2025 (c) 13th October 2025 until 21st November 2025. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
