Bracknell Forest, Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing & Relining Works

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(B3034 FOREST ROAD, BINFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:

a) B3034 Forest Road, Binfield in both directions between the junctions of Pitch Place and York Road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: B3034 Forest Road, B3018 Tilehurst Lane, B3018 Church Lane, B3018 Twyford Road, B3018 Binfield Road, B3018 The Straight Mile, B3018, Maidenhead Road and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Agetur UK Ltd complete resurfacing and relining works on the highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 18th September 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 18th September 2025 - 19th September 2025.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
