Green Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - GREEN LANE, HAMBLEDON, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Green Lane between its junction with B2150 Hambledon Road / Southwick Road and its junction with a point approximately 1600m south thereof.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A3, B2177, Portsdown Hill Road, Droxford Road, Wickham Road, Midlington Road, South Hill, High Street, Garrison Hill, Brockbridge, Hambledon Road

DURATION OF ORDER: from 28th September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 08:00-16:00).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out pole replacement & testing works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk

Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
