Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio Barbers Hill, Y Feifod, Llangollen yn Sir Ddinbych, sy’n ymestyn o’i chyffordd â Willow Street am bellter o tua 520 metr.
Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso gwaith gosod pibell a siamb’r ffordd newydd gan Dave Group Ltd ar ran Openreach.
Bydd y ffordd yn agored i gerddwyr gydol y cyfnod cau.
Bydd arwyddion ar gyfer ffordd amgen trwy Willow Street, Hall Street, cyffordd A5 gyferbyn ag Ystrad Hall ar yr A5 i Fferm Tyn y Celyn, a Foel i Bont y Feifod.
Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 11 Medi 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 25 Medi 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

BARBERS HILL, VIVOD
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using Barbers Hill, Vivod, Llangollen in the County of Denbigh extending westward from its junction with Willow Street for a distance of approximately 520 metres.
The closure is necessary to facilitate installation of ducting and a new carriageway chamber by Dave Group Ltd on behalf of Openreach.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The signposted alternative route will be via Willow Street, Hall Street, A5 junction opposite Ystrad Hall on A5 to Tyn y Celyn Farm, and Foel to Vivod Bridge.
The Order is effective from 11th September 2025 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 25th September 2025.
