Lower Pennington Lane, Milford-on-sea, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to engineering works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to makean order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Lower Pennington Lane between its junction with Keyhaven Road and continuing to a point 320 metres East on Lower Pennington Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 22nd September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 19 days working between the hours 08:30-17:00).
