Hunts Road - Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (HUNTS ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.

The Order will introduce road closures on Hunts Road, Kings Street, Sumner Road, Alresford Road. The Order is necessary to facilitate filming and provide space for the cast, crew and vehicles. The order is due to come into operation on Thursday 9th October 2025 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 24th October 2025. The diversion routes are via Bolton Road - Swinton Park Road - Claremont Road - Penelope Street - Duffield Road, vice versa. A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be requested by contacting Salford City Council Street Works team via the email street.works@salford.gov.uk or the postal address below:
