Yeathouse Road, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U4194 YEATHOUSE ROAD, FRIZINGTON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the U4194 Yeathouse Road, Frizington from its junction with Dyke Street, extending in an overall easterly direction for approx. 430m, to its junction with Winder Gate.
There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 1 October 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 2 nights between 1800 and 2200 hours, each night and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
